This beautiful compass is a reproduction of those manufactured in the 18th and 19th centuries for the British Royal Navy.
It consists of two independent pieces that together form the circular case that you can see in the photograph. The piece that contains the universal sundial is folded, rotated and screwed, leaving a completely compact metal (brass) box.
It is presented in a beautiful leather case which gives it a fantastic presentation to make the best gift for friends of the sea and astronomy.
