In the Naval 60 model, its upper cover has four brass screws, which when removed allow us to lift the cover and expose the hole that holds the vial and thus be able to pour the sand inside, and then close it again. remaining completely airtight and ready to be used as many times as you want, without any danger of a single grain of sand spilling.
In the Naval 30 model, the sand is poured through a small hole in one of its covers. The hole is closed by a small gold screw that prevents the sand from being poured when turned.
It is a reproduction of the naval clocks that were used in seafaring during the 15th to 18th centuries, one of whose copies is preserved in the naval museum of Madrid.
The bulb protectors are made of polished copper (Naval 30) and brass (Naval 60), which further highlights its sobriety and beauty.
Included in the price are: the clock itself, a small plastic funnel to pour the sand and two glass jars with two colors to choose from.
